Role of the Investor: Consolidation of a significant interest in Sun Interbrew. Negotiating with Sun an offer to buy its stake in Sun Interbrew. Its acquisition gave control over Sun Interbrew. In the upshot, the when the stake was bought by Inbev, an agreement was reached with Inbev to sell Alfa position to it.
The transaction became one of the largest in the brewing industry history in Russia and CIS countries.
