Investment Appeal/Investment Concept of the Project: High production output potential; possibility of being taken over by large metallurgical companies. Highly qualified professional managers of Alfa-Group with the relevant anti-crisis management experience.
Role of the Investor: The enterprise was in a grave operating and financial position. In 1997-1998, the investor suggested an anti-crisis program. Its implementation resulted in a significant improvement of the economic situation in the company. Significant investment funds were attracted and about US$100 million was raised to finance the working capital.
